THIRD CONFERENCE IN PARIS (1970)

The Third International Conference of Tamil Studies was held at the Collège de France in Paris on 15 July 1970. Malcolm Adiseshiah, UNESCO Assistant Director-General, in the opening speech, addresses the audience in French, English, and Tamil, his own language, on the Resolution of the UNESCO General Conference to assist in the establishment and working of the International Institute of Tamil Studies in Madras.
